Malice | By Keigo Higashino

It’s been a while since I read my last crime fiction book, but this one I just binge-read. Osamu Nonoguchi finds his old friend Kunihiko Hidaka brutally murdered in his home the night before Hidaka was planning to leave Japan and relocate to Vancouver.

Investigating Police Detective Kyochiro Kaga recognizes Hidaka’s best friend Mr. Nonoguchi. Years ago they were teacher colleagues at a public school. As the investigation goes on Kaga realizes there might be more behind this murder.

Keigo Higashino creates a thrilling crime fiction, with interesting changes of narrative perspectives and never-ending story-turns.
